Welcome to Bynes' Falls Dentistry. New patients often have questions when they visit a doctor for the first time. This brochure is intended to acquaint you with our procedures and policies and to help answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of dental care available. To achieve this goal, the following policies have been established.
YOUR COMFORT
Our office is unique in that it has been designed with your comfort foremost in our minds. Every detail, from the magazines we select to the music we play, is designed to make your dental experience at Bynes' Falls a very unique one. Relaxing gas, stereo headphones, virtual reality T.V. glasses and Novacaine are available to you at all times without extra charges for these services. There is no reason why your dental visits should not be pleasant experiences.
MODERN DENTISTRY
Dentistry, like the other health professions changes rapidly as new discoveries are made. To bring you the benefits of these changes, the doctor devotes many of his spare hours attending post-graduate courses, seminars and meetings. He subscribes to several dental journals in order to keep abreast of advancements in dentistry. Dr. Bynes has had several articles published in national dental journals and is the author of a text book on dentistry for his fellow dentists. He also has been involved with research for treating fearful patients. Our equipment is kept up to date and the materials we use are the finest and safest available. Every staff member has been trained in infection control. You will notice that we all use gloves and masks when treating you. Before you are seated in the treatment area an assistant has disinfected the room and equipment and made sure that all instruments have been put through our rigorous sterilization procedures. Wherever possible we use disposable products for one time use only.
PAYMENT METHODS
We offer four choices in payment methods:
1. 10% discount is given for cash or check payment at each visit when there is no outstanding balance.
2. Mastercard and Visa
3. Office charge accounts: credit will be extended for 30 days only. Account balances beyond 30 days are considered past due and are charged interest.
4. CareCredit: Low payment, interest free monthly payments.
Extended payment plans for larger cases.
BROKEN APPOINTMENTS
We will attempt to confirm your appointment the day before it is scheduled. Unless there is an emergency situation, a charge will be incurred for appointments not kept without 24 hours prior notice.
INSURANCE
For insurance reimbursement it is only necessary to attach our statement of services to your completed insurance form. We will be happy to send the insurance forms to your carrier for you. If you assign benefits to us and do not receive notification that payment has been made within 30 days, please make payment to us and contact your carrier concerning your benefits. Please remember that we are here to help you but that your dental insurance is primarily your responsibility.
